India are set to welcome their Asian neighbours Afghanistan in what is the first-ever white-ball bilateral series between the two sides. India and Afghanistan will take each other on in a three-match T20I series that begins on January 11.
The Men in Blue are going to play their final set of T20 internationals before the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup which is set to take place from June 1 to June 29 in the USA and the Caribbean.

They come into this series on the back of a successful South Africa tour, on which they won the ODI series 2-1 and drew both the Test and T20I series 1-1.
Afghanistan, meanwhile, recently visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take on UAE in a three-match T20I series, winning 2-1.
