India, who have managed to remain unbeaten in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, are all set to face England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup in Guayana on Thursday.

Rohit Sharma and Co will seek revenge for their defeat from last edition's semi-final when the English outclassed them by 10 wickets to qualify for the final.

As per the rules, a maximum of 250 minutes of extra time shall be allocated to the scheduled day of semi-final 2 before the game gets called off due to a washout. However, there will be no reserve day for the second semi-final clash.

How late will Indian fans have to stay up in case of rain delay in India vs England semi-final?

The match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM IST. In case of a rain delay, the latest the game can start without losing any overs is 12:10 AM IST (June 28). Accordingly, the latest the match can go is until 3:40 AM considering there are no further rain delays.

Can India qualify for T20 World Cup 2024 final directly if the Guyana semifinal is washed out?

India can qualify for the T20 World Cup final if the semi-final gets washed out in Guayana.

There is no reserve day for the semis in case of a washout. Therefore, if rain affects the semi-final clashes, the team finishing at the top of their group would qualify for the World Cup final. Thus, even if India vs England ends in a 'No Result', India would qualify for the T20 World Cup 2024 Final as they topped Group 1.

India will take on England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024. The Men in Blue will face the defending champions on Thursday, June 27, at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
