After a successful trip to South Africa, team India is back on home soil. The Men in Blue will take on Afghanistan in a three-match T20I series starting January 11. It must be noted that this will be the final T20I action for India ahead of the all-important T20I World Cup in June 2024.

India has bolstered its options with the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who make a return to the format after a 14-month break. However, the former is unavailable for the tournament opener and will join the squad after the match.
