The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 is set to take place in Zimbabwe where the hosts will be joined by Ireland, Oman, Netherlands, Scotland, Sri Lanka, UAE, USA, and West Indies in an intense battle for the final two spots in the prestigious ODI event scheduled later this year.
Commencing on June 18, the Cricket World Cup Qualifier will feature two groups, each consisting of five teams. The teams within their respective groups will engage in a round-robin series, competing against each other. Following this stage, the top three teams from each group will advance to the highly anticipated CWC Qualifier Super Six stage. Importantly, their results from the initial group matches will be carried forward.
In the Super Six stage, the qualifying teams will face off against the three teams progressing from the opposite group, forming crucial match-ups. These matches will determine the top two teams, who will secure their tickets to participate in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 held in India later this year. Additionally, the two finalists of the Super Six stage will battle it out in the CWC Qualifier Final, scheduled for July 9.
