The Kensington Oval Stadium in Barbados will be hosting the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. India will be taking on Aiden Markram’s South Africa in an highly anticipated clash on Saturday in Barbados. 

India reached the final by defeating the defending champions Egland convincingly in Guyana, while South Afrcia broke a generational curse by winning their first ever semi-final in the World Cup after numerous attempts and heartbreaks from previous years.

Both India and South Africa have been on a hot streak of unbeaten games. The Proteas have won all of their eight games in their journey in the competition so far, while India have won seven and shared the points in one game after persistent rains. 

On Saturday, one of these teams will create history by lifting the trophy without losing a single game in the entire tournament. South Africa will be playing to win their first ever ICC title, while the Men in Blue will be aiming to break the 11-year long curse and finally lift a major trophy since their Champions Trophy triumph in 2013.
