The Indians were ecstatic after the win, and even during the match, were seen to be full of emotions and eagerness. Harbhajan Singh, a member of India's cup-winning squad, posted a celebration video after the match.

Singh, alongside Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, and Gurkeerat Singh Mann, were emulating the limp action, like that of a physically handicapped person. The video caused outrage among the masses, to which the off-spinner has issued an apology note.

How did Harbhajan Singh react to outrage on WCL win celebration video?

Harbhajan took to Instagram, to speak about the public's fury over the celebration video posted after the WCL 2024 win. The former India international stated how the quartet acted the way they did, to reflect on their sore bodies after playing continuous cricket for a fortnight.

Just want to clear to our people who are complaining about our recent videos of Tauba Tauba on social media after winning the championship here in England, the Turbanator stated.

We didn't want to hurt anyone's sentiments. We respect every individual and community And this video was just to reflect to our bodies after playing continuous cricket for 15 days. SORE bodies we are not trying to insult or offend anyone, Harbhajan explained via Instagram story.

Most of the cricketers have retired long ago, and played in an exhibition tournament. Singh stated how they did not intend to hurt anyone, but even if they did, he apologised to the masses and wished them good health.

Still if people think we have done something wrong, all I can say from my side is sorry to everyone. Please let's stop this here and move forward. Stay happy and healthy. Love to all. Regards, the 44-year-old expressed his love and apology.
