While de Villiers believes that India's World Cup squad is well balanced, the one thing that can derail them is the pressure of playing at home.

The South Africa legend warned the Indian side against getting burdened against the hopes of the whole nation, and stated they should go 'fearless' in the competition.
"I think India's squad is incredible, really, really strong. Captain Rohit, Hardik Pandya [is the] vice-captain. The only worry I have for India is playing at home. Last time they played in India, they won. There will be huge pressure. That's the only big obstacle in my opinion," de Villiers said as quoted on his YouTube channel.
"But go fearless. And that is exactly the word I'm talking about. Forget about the pressure of the nation, that's something you can't control. Control what you can control. Fearless is the word I'm looking for in the Indian squad. If they can do that, they'll go a long way and most probably lift that trophy," he added.
What happened last time ODI World Cup was held in India?
India's World Cup drought will come a full circle. The last time they won a World Cup, it took place in India in 2011. They defeated Sri Lanka in the final that year by six wickets.
When will India start their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign
