Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor, Gautam Gambhir, who was pumped up after his side snatched a slender one-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), asked the home fans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium to hush up with a finger on the lips gesture.
He was also spotted doing an intense handshake with Virat Kohli while the two teams lined up after the match to exchange greetings as a mark of sportsmanship.

What happened in RCB vs LSG?
Chasing a mammoth score of 212 posted by RCB, LSG were in trouble after losing three wickets inside the powerplay. But LSG mounted a spirited comeback, courtesy of Marcus Stoinis' aggressive fifty followed by another blitzkrieg by Nicolas Pooran who went on to record the fastest half-century in the 2023 IPL off just 15 balls.
However, after the fall of Pooran, RCB came right back into the game and if it was not for Harshal Patel's unsuccessful attempt to 'Mankad' Ravi Bishnoi, we would have been set for the first super over in this edition of IPL. With one required off one delivery, LSG ran a bye to seal the game.
Amid the wild celebrations in the LSG dugout, Gambhir's aggressive act stood out from the rest. The former Indian international was caught hurling a mouthful while high-fiving with his other teammates.
Gambhir lined up for the customary handshake after the match on the pitch and when he faced Kohli in the queue the duo was involved in a quick but intense shake of hands with the LSG mentor saying a couple of words as well.
After that Gambhir was seen asking the RCB fans to keep quiet who had been loud throughout the game and backed their team till the last ball with vociferous chants.

Gambhir was also later seen hugging Virat Kohli that suggested things had cooled down between the two after the game.
