In a sensational display of power-hitting, Finn Allen of the New Zealand cricket team has etched his name in the record books. During the third T20I against Pakistan in Dunedin, Allen smashed an astounding 16 sixes, equaling the world record set by Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan.

His aggressive batting propelled him to a remarkable individual score of 137 runs from just 62 balls.

This outstanding performance not only secured a world record but also marked the highest score by a New Zealand cricketer in men's T20I internationals. Allen surpassed the previous record held by Brendon McCullum, who scored 123 runs against Bangladesh in Pallekele in 2012.

New Zealand, riding on Allen's heroics, posted a formidable total of 224/7 in their 20 overs at the University Oval. Tim Seifert's contribution of 31 runs (23 balls) provided valuable support to Allen's explosive innings.

In response, Pakistan were bowled out for 179 runs to lose the series as the Kiwis have an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the five-match contest.

Even though Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf picked a few crucial wickets, they struggled to contain New Zealand's scoring rate. Mohammad Wasim emerged as the least expensive bowler for Pakistan, conceding 35 runs in 4 overs.

In the latter part of the innings, Allen's six off the first ball of the 18th over pushed New Zealand past the 200-run mark.

Babar Azam emerged as the highest run-getter for Pakistan with 58 but his effort was not enough to take Pakistan over the line. The top order, apart from Babar, could not convert their starts to big scores which did not help their cause.
