Even after retiring from international cricket in 2020, MS Dhoni could give the current generation of players a run for their money in terms of fitness. He, recently, took a workout challenge along with three other people in a gym.
Twitter flooded with a video of Dhoni where the legend could be seen in a workout session.

It is noteworthy that Dhoni had knee issues to deal with during the entirety of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Despite this, he led the Chennai Super Kings to a record-equalling fifth trophy.
The wicketkeeper-batter underwent a successful surgery soon after the tournament finished. He is currently in a recovery process.
MS Dhoni - A fitness freak
Dhoni, in the latter half of his career, became a fitness freak. While he was always a good runner between the wickets, it went a notch up as he became fitter. His race with Hardik Pandya where the both were neck-to-neck despite the former's age being on the higher side is the testament to this statement.

Will MS Dhoni play in IPL 2024?
While it was highly believed that Dhoni would retire after IPL 2023, if his words are to be believed, there is a high possibility that he will again be seen in the yellow jersey in 2024.
"If you circumstantially see, it's the best time to announce the retirement. The easy thing for me to say is thank you and retire. But the hard thing to do is to work hard for nine months and try to play one more IPL season. The body has to hold up. But the amount of love I have received from CSK fans, it would be a gift for them to play one more season. The way they've shown their love and emotion, it's something I need to do for them. It's the last part of my career. It started over here and the full house was chanting my name," Dhoni had said.
