Ibrahim Zadran-Noor Ali Zadran bat for Afghanistan - When family members represented their countries in international cricket

On Wednesday, Ireland and Afghanistan faced off on day one of the one-off Test between the sides at the Tolerance Oval in Abu Dhabi.

Afghanistan chose to bat first, but were bowled out within two sessions on the first day. Opener Ibrahim Zadran top-scored with 53, but only two other players crossed 20; Hashmatullah Shahidi (20) and Karim Janat (41*). Mark Adair was the star with the ball, picking up 5/39.
