Team India has already travelled to the United States for mission 'T20 World Cup 2024'. Rohit Sharma and his men have reached New York, ahead of their warm-up match against Bangladesh on June 01.
Carrying a billion people's hopes over their shoulders, the Men in Blue would hope to end their decade-long trophy draught in ICC tournaments, by winning the T20 World Cup this year. India's only triumph at the T20 WC came in the inaugural edition, way back in 2007.
In the 2022 edition of the tournament, the Rohit Sharma-led side were eliminated in the semi-final stage, after a loss against eventual-winners, England. Talking about India's chances at the 2024 World Cup, Eoin Morgan has lauded the squad depth that skipper Rohit Sharma has at his disposal.

What did Eoin Morgan say about India's squad for T20 World Cup?
Speaking to media outlet Sky Sports, Eoin Morgan did not shy away from naming India as favourites to win the T20 World Cup 2024. Morgan called India the 'strongest side' going into the ICC tournament.
Eoin Morgan called India the strongest side at the T20 WC 2024, despite any mishaps and injury concerns. The 37-year-old spoke about the squad depth and the travelling reserves, making India the team to beat, heading into the competition.
For me the strongest side, even with injuries throughout the tournament, is India without a doubt. The strength and depth is incredible at the moment. We talk about the players missing out on the opportunity, because of the quality that they (India) possess as well.
Morgan reminded the Sky Sports panel about India's failure to win the T20 World Cup since 2007. The former England skipper also made a bold statement about the squad's potential to beat every opponent at will.
They haven't won it since the first edition (2007). India are favourites for me. The quality that they have on paper, if they produce it (on the field), they can beat anybody quite well in the tournament, Morgan hailed India's squad strength going into T20 World Cup 2024.
