England will be looking to begin their T20 World Cup campaign with a win when they enter their opening match against Afghanistan as heavy favourites.
Afghanistan has never made it past the second round of the tournament, whilst England will be aiming to win it all for the first time since 2010.

When is England vs. Afghanistan?
England and Afghanistan's clash will take place on Saturday, October 22, with the match scheduled to start at 7:00 pm local time (10:00 pm AEDT / 3:30 pm AT / 12:00 pm BST).
Optus Stadium - located in Perth, Western Australia - will host the match.
Despite the World Cup officially commencing last week, Saturday will mark both teams' first match of the tournament.
Part of the same Super 12 group, England and Afghanistan will go on to play four more matches each before the semi-final participants are confirmed.
