Who made the England squad for the Pakistan Series?
The England and Wales Cricket Board has announced a well-balanced squad under Ben Stokes' leadership. Stokes, recovering from a hamstring tear, will lead the team against Shan Masood's Pakistan side.
Jack Leach, who has been out since a knee injury during the first Test in Hyderabad against India, has also returned. Leach’s injury, suffered during a fielding mishap, had kept him out of action for months. His return adds valuable spin depth to the side.

Among the notable inclusions is another spinner Rehan Ahmed. The squad reflects England’s strategy to maintain a mix of fast bowlers and spinners, which is always vital in the Asian conditions.
Who else returns to the squad?
Zak Crawley, who had missed the series against the West Indies due to a finger injury, makes his return to the Test squad.
The 26-year-old opener has had a stellar record against Pakistan, amassing 555 runs from just five matches. Crawley's highest Test score of 267, was achieved in 2020 at Southampton against Pakistan.
