The England Cricket team have arrived in Hyderabad ahead of the first Test match. The 2019 World Cup winners are scheduled to face India in a five-match Test series, as a part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle.
The two nations will lock horns to get better of each other on the WTC points table. The five-match series would mean a total of a maximum 60 points on the line for either team. India are placed second on the table with 26 points in four matches.
Their opponents England, are placed way below on the seventh position, with just nine points in five test matches. Each win in every match would count for an awful lot in terms of qualification for the World Test Championship Final.

The English side landed in India ahead of the inaugural Test. Ben Stokes & co. arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday. The teams are scheduled to lock horns at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Test match will commence from January 25, 2024, to January 29.

The match will be broadcast on TV by the Sports18 network, who acquired the rights to broadcast India's home games in 2023 in a five-year deal. Meanwhile, fans can stream the matches online for free on the JioCinema App.
