India's domestic cricket season is set to start soon with the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) releasing a detailed schedule from June 2023 to March 2024, with 1846 matches set to be played in this time period.
One of the biggest tournaments in Indian cricket's domestic calendar is the Duleep Trophy which will start on June 28 and end on July 16.
Many cricketers will be looking to get to top form during the tournament and get a chance to represent India at an international level. One such player will be Prithvi Shaw who hasn't been having the best of times.

He will be hoping to make a mark after a disappointing Indian Premier League season where he was relegated to the bench by Delhi Capitals (DC) after a few games.
