After losing Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal early on in the second innings, Virat and Shubman Gill were in the middle of building a partnership for the third wicket and had already stitched 39 runs together.
How was Virat Kohli given out?
Bangaldesh off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz, in the 20th over, flighted one on the full outside Virat's off stump. The ball spun in as Kohli tried to flick it on the front foot and got hit on the pad. Umpire Richard Kettleborough gave him out and Kohli walked back without taking a review after a brief chat with his partner Shubman Gill.
And in the replays, the LBW seemed a straight-forward decision as the ball looked to be headed straight for the stumps. However, Kohli had made a huge blunder.

What happened as Virat Kohli did not take a DRS review?
After walking back inside, the big screen at the Chepauk replayed the wicket delivery with the snicko/ultraedge which showed an edge off Kohli's bat. Apparently, there was a clear snick which was missed by everyone including Kohli who was not even interested in taking the review.

If he had, it would have saved him. There were exasperated reactions all around the ground including some funny expressions from Rohit Sharma and Kettleborough.
