T20 World Cup 2024 final heartbreak for David Miller
In the final over of the match, South Africa needed 16 runs from 6 deliveries. Miller, known for handling pressure well, was expected to lead South Africa to win.
Unfortunately, he was dismissed on the first ball of the 20th over. Trying to hit a six, Miller's shot was caught by Suryakumar Yadav at the long-off boundary.
This dismissal ended South Africa's hopes of lifting the trophy, as Hardik Pandya conceded only 8 runs. Miller's effort of 21 runs off 17 balls was not enough to secure a win for South Africa in their first-ever World Cup final.
