Shikhar Dhawan and Mohit Rathee set a new record for the highest 10th wicket partnership in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) during the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fixture at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on April 9.
PBKS were reduced to 88 for nine in 15 overs after being put to bat first by SRH. However, Dhawan and Rathee put on 55 runs for the last wicket which helped them post a respectable total of 143 on the board.
Dhawan missed his third IPL century by a whisker after remaining unbeaten on 99 runs off 66 balls with the help of 12 fours and five sixes. The left-handed batsman took most of the strike as Rathee faced just two balls contributing one to the score.

Chasing 175, RR lost nine wickets for 106 in the 2020 edition of the IPL. However, Tom Curran and Ankit Rajpoot put up a valiant fight to take their team to 137 at the end of their 20 overs. They added 31 runs in just 12 balls to breathe some respect into the RR innings.

3) Andre Russell and Harry Gurney (29*, Kolkata Knight Riders against Chennai Super Kings)

KKR were struggling at 79 for 9 when the last man Harry Gurney walked to bat out in the 2019 edition of the IPL. Andre Russell was at the other end, who just like Dhawan, took the bulk of the strike to protect his partner. The duo added 29 runs to post 108 on the board. However, the target was chased down by CSK for the loss of just three wickets.

Delhi posted 150 on the board after batting first. In response, RR were 107 for nine at the end of the 17th over. Munaf Patel came out from the dugout and played a brilliant innings of 23 off 10. Although his cameo was not enough to fire RR over the line it helped them to get to 136.

Rahul Chahar and Arshdeep Singh played some fearless cricket to add a quickfire 27 in just 13 balls to take Punjab Kings' total to 189 at the end of 20 overs in their league game against Gujarat Titans in 2022. However, their efforts were not enough as the Titans chased down the total courtesy of a brilliant 96 off 59 deliveries by Shubman Gill.
