The D-Day is finally here! The day of the Women's Premier League. After a stellar response in the inaugural season, the WPL is ready for its second round of games. The WPL Season 2 kicks off on Friday, February 23. Ahead of the opening ceremony, Delhi Capitals skipper, Meg Lanning had her moment, with the Bollywood Ka Badshah, a.k.a., Shah Rukh Khan.

Ahead of the opening ceremony of the Women's Premier League 2024, Delhi Capitals Women's captain, Meg Lanning had her dream-come-true moment. The Australian captain was seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The Bollywood icon, who is known worldwide for his aura, stature, and his acting, did his iconic pose with Lanning.

"Kehte hai agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh poori kainaat use tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai", the Delhi Capitals posted on their official X account.

What is Meg Lanning's record in the WPL? 

Meg Lanning finished the inaugural season of the Women's Premier League as the tournament's top-scorer. The veteran skipper did her job with the bat too, scoring over 300 runs in just nine innings. She also hit the most boundaries in the campaign, striking close to 140.
