Delhi Capitals (DC) lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by nine runs in an engaging Indian Premier League clash on Saturday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Both sides have won away against each other throwing the concept of 'home advantage' to the bin. It was a clinical performance from SRH to get the much-needed two points.

After posting 197 on the board, courtesy of a brilliant 53 off 27 by Heinrich Klassen, their spinners Mayank Markande, Abhishek Sharma and Akeal Hosein did the job in the middle overs to remove Phil Salt and Mitchell Marsh, who were having a gala time in the middle.

Whereas, some economical bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan in the death ensured that they walked away with the win.

DC vs SRH: Live Updates

Check back here for all the build-up and action from the match itself.

23:28- Mitchell Marsh was awarded the Man of the Match performance for his all-around performance with the bat and ball.

23:09 - SRH avenged their defeat to DC earlier this week with a nine-run victory over the capital side. They staged an incredible comeback with the ball by picking up regular wickets in the middle overs that prevented the hosts to build any momentum. Natarajan bowled a clean penultimate over while Bhuvneshwar Kumar finished the job to hand the orange army the vital two points.

22:37- Just when it seemed that DC were cruising to the chase, SRH have come back right into the game with three big wickets in three consecutive overs. After Salt was caught & bowled by Markande, Manish Pandey was stumped by Klassen off an Abhishek Sharma delivery for just one. However, it was Akeal Hosein who sent the dangerous Marsh packing who looked in ominous touch. After getting hit for a six, he showed the heart to toss it up and this time it was a leading edge which was caught comfortably by Markram. At the end of 14 overs, DC are 129 for 4.

21:53- After Warner departed for a duck, Salt & Marsh have steadily built a partnership. They got their 50 up in the sixth over and they have raced to 79 for one at the end of seven overs. Umran Malik has conceded 22 runs in his first over and Dale Steyn and Brian Lara in the DC dugout is definitely not impressed with the young pacer.

21:28- Second innings begins! And what a start for SRH. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has got the massive wicket of Warner with his second ball. Kumar bowled it just outside off stump and the Australian chopped it onto his stumps. Can DC force their way back into the match?

21:10- It was Klassen show at the Arun Jaitley STadium as the South African blazed his way to 53 runs from 27 balls to help his team post 197 for 6 in their 20 overs. The South African smashed Axar for back-to-back sixes and even showed no mercy to Nortje. They were looking to get past 180 in this wicket which has looked sticky but with some Klassen-magic at the end they think they have got enough of the board to defend. Can Warner & Co. chase this down? Stay tuned for DC's response.

20:35- SRH have managed to get 126 at the loss of five wickets after 14 overs. Axar Patel got the massive wicket of Abhishek Sharma who was cruising at 67 off just 36 balls. Whereas, Mitchell Marsh got two more in skipper Aiden Markram and Harry Brook to stifle the run flow of the Nizams. Markram was speaking about not losing wickets in a cluster at the toss but SRH have once again fallen into the same trap. However, Heinrich Klassen at the crease, SRH would hope to get past the 180-mark.

20:02- SRH are going strong after the powerplay with 62 on the board after six overs. Abhishek Sharma has been key and he hit Ishant Sharma for back-to-back fours to race to 43 off just 23 balls. Mayank Agarwal and Rahul Tripathi have gone back to the dugout with Sharma and Mitchell Marsh giving the two breakthroughs respectively. This is their second-highest powerplay score this season, second only to their score of 65 for 2 against KKR.

19:30- Live action from Delhi! Here we go...Abhishek Sharma and Mayank Agarwal with the bat for SRH while Ishant Sharma charges in for DC.

19:10- Teams Announced

19:06- Sunrisers Hyderabad have won the toss and have opted to bat.

Warner: It's about putting the best foot forward, and adapt to the conditions. We are losing wickets in a cluster. Need to hit down the wicket, need to put a good batting performance. We got to bowl well in the first six overs. Home and away (games) that's a bit challenging, but we are enjoying it. Priyam Garg makes his debut, Aman Khan is out.

Markram: It's about putting the best foot forward, and adapt to the conditions. We are losing wickets in a cluster. Need to hit down the wicket, need to put a good batting performance. We got to bowl well in the first six overs. Home and away (games) that's a bit challenging, but we are enjoying it. Priyam Garg makes his debut, Aman Khan is out.

19:05- Pitch Report: "60m boundary on one side, 67m on the other side, 74m hit down the ground. All three games here have been won by the chasing team, but the highest score batting first is 172. We are seeing a surface that doesn't have grass, we are seeing a surface that is low scoring. Absolutely no grass-cover at all. Make best use of the surface by batting first," stated Ian Bishop and Kevin Pietersen.

19:00 - Welcome to TSN's live coverage of DC vs SRH, the weather seems clear so far with the sun out so no disruptions to the proceedings are expected.

DC vs SRH: Weather Report

There is some rain delay with the afternoon game in the IPL at Kolkata between KKR and GT. However, the weather in Delhi seems to be fine at the moment. But the weather monitors say there is a slight chance of rain at night in Delhi.

Hopefully, it will clear fast even if it rains.

Markram and Tripathi key for SRH

SRH will rely on skipper Aidan Markram and Rahul Tripathi to fire against DC's spin attack. Both strike at above 200 against Kuldeep Yadav which could be an important matchup in this game.

Warner's happy hunting ground

The Kotla has been a very good hunting ground for David Warner. The DC skipper has scored 885 runs here in 31 outings, which includes seven fifties and a hundred.

Will he add to that impressive record tonight?

Win the toss and chase?

This season, Delhi has been a chasing ground. All the games in IPL 2023 at Delhi has been won by chasing sides.

The decision at toss will be quite straightforward for both captains.

DC vs SRH: Pitch Report

The Feroze Shah Kotla, also known as Arun Jaitley Stadium, has historically aided spinners. However, the short boundaries and dry nature of the pitch also helps batsmen in a T20 game. It's conducive for strokeplay but spinners could be a handful here.

The highest score by a team in a single inning at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium is 231, posted by DC against Punjab Kings (PBKS) during the 2011 season.
