Australian opener joined an elite list of cricketers to become only the third cricketer in the history of the sport to play 100 matches in all three formats of the game.
Australia took on West Indies in the first T20I of the three-match series at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, where Warner was playing his 100th T20I.
He played a terrific knock, scoring 70 runs off just 36 balls as the hosts posted 213 runs off the board in their 20 overs.
In reply, the Windies fell short by just 11 runs, thanks to a magical spell of leg-spin by Adam Zampa, who registered figures of 3-26 in his four overs.
Warner, who has retired from both the ODI and Test formats, showed why he is still one of the most fearsome white-ball openers as he was awarded the Player of the Match award.

Which players have played 100 matches in all three formats?
Warner became only the third cricketer ever to play 100 Tests, ODIs, and T20Is each, joining Virat Kohli and Ross Taylor in the process.
Taylor, who played for New Zealand, made his debut for the Blackcaps on March 1, 2006. He reached the milestone of playing 100 matches in all three formats on February 21, 2020, in a Test match against India.
The now-retired Kiwi middle-order batsman became the first cricketer ever to achieve that accolade.
