The Pakistan skipper recently sat down with former Pakistan international, Ramiz Raja on a local news channel where he named the toughest opponent (bowler) he has ever faced in his career.

The 30-year-old has faced some tricky bowlers in his career, both pacers and spinners. Jasprit Bumrah, James Anderson, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc, have been some of the most lethal pacers Azam has ever faced.

Who is the toughest bowler Babar Azam has faced in his career?

Babar Azam hailed the prowess of Australian pacer Pat Cummins and named him as the toughest bowler he has ever faced. Azam chose Cummins ahead of bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Mark Wood, and Mitchell Starc.

In his chat with Raja, the Pakistan white-ball skipper said,

The way he has, over the years, improved [himself], he will not give you a loose ball. He knows how I can take the wicket of a certain batter by bowling at a certain position. He traps you. He gives you a tough time. He challenges your tempering and technique to the fullest.
