Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will host Rajasthan Royals in match 17 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Both teams have got off to a steady start in IPL this season and have won two out of their first three games.
After faltering to Gujarat Titans in their campaign opener, CSK have bounced back with intent, winning two on the trot against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) respectively.
CSK's spin battery has been on song with Ravindra Jadeja and Mitchell Santner doing most of the talking with their ball. The duo picked five wickets against MI and will look to weave some magic on the Chepauk pitch which historically has had something to offer for the slowers.
Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad (40 off 36), Ajinkya Rahane (61 off 27), and Shivam Dube (28 off 26) ensured that the Men in Yellow had smooth sailing during the chase.

RR, on the other hand, won by a massive margin of 57 runs against Delhi Capitals (DC) in their previous outing.
Yashavi Jaiswal (60 off 31) and Jos Buttler (79 off 51) put up a 98-run opening stand before Shimron Hetmyer joined the party with a quickfire 39 off 21 to post 199 on the board.
After the batters did their job, Trent Boult started spitting fire with the ball removing Prithvi Shaw and Manish Pandey in the first over itself. DC could not recover from the double blow and ended up on the losing side despite David Warners's 65 off 55 balls.
These two teams met 26 times so far in IPL history with CSK winning 15 and RR on 11 other occasions.
