There is not stopping the South Africans in the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023 as they registered yet another convincing win over Bangladesh on Tuesday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Batting first, South Africa posted a formidable total of 382 runs for the loss of five wickets riding on Quinton de Kock's brilliant innings of 174. Heinrich Klassen missed out on scoring back-to-back World Cup hundreds as he fell short of his century by just 10 runs.
Bangladesh in reply, were bowled out for 233 runs with only Mahmadullah putting up some fight by scoring 111 of as many balls. All five Proteas bowlers contributed with the ball with Gerald Coetzee being the peak of them picking up three wickets for 62 runs.
Temba Bavuma's side climbed up to the second position on the points table with a huge net run rate of +2/370.
