Mitchell Santner picked up a five-wicket haul as New Zealand recorded their second consecutive win at the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 on Monday.
An all-round effort by Santner (36* off 17 balls; 5/59) ensured that the Kiwis picked up two out of two wins at the event. New Zealand had a monstrous night with the bat as well, with Will Young (70), Rachin Ravindra (51), and Tom Latham (53) all scoring half-centuries.
Batting first, New Zealand posted a whopping total of 322 runs on the board. Devon Conway and Will Young gave a solid start to the Kiwis, with Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, and Tom Latham all coming up with the goods in the middle order.
