What did Suryakumar Yadav say about the Barbados pitch?

SKY spoke about Team India's preparations for the Super 8 game against Afghanistan. The 33-year-old ranked the surface in Bridgetown better than the Nassau County pitches in New York.

India played three of their four group-stage games in New York. After failing to put on a run-fest, Team India will now hope to make amends, on the batting-pitches in the West Indies. In the pre-match press conference, SKY revealed his happiness to be back in familiar territory of the West Indies.

We were playing there for the first time (New York). The conditions were a bit different, and little challenging as well. But we have played here (Barbados). We know the conditions here. How they react, how they act, so we are very happy to be here, SKY stated in the pre-match presser.

When asked about the batting combinations and strategies, SKY spoke about the reliance on own decision-making, while batting on the pitch.

And the two people who are batting inside, management and captain have said that they are the best who can make decisions. From the team's point of view on what is important at that time. So we think and act accordingly, Surya stated.
