The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the detailed fixture list for the 2023-24 home season, which would see the senior men's team play 16 international games including five Tests, three ODIs and eight T20Is.
The Men in Blue will play three ODIs against Australia, as part of their preparations for the ICC Cricket World Cup, on September 22, 24 and 27 in Mohali, Indore and Rajkot respectively.
India will also host the World Cup at home which is set to be held from October 5-November 19 later this year.
Immediately after the conclusion of the global event, the bilateral series against the Aussies would restart as the two giants would lock horns in a five-match T20I series that begins on November 23 and ends on December 3. The venues are Vizag, Trivandrum, Guwahati, Nagpur and Hyderabad.

Next, Rohit Sharma & Co. will face Afghanistan in three T20Is in the new year on January 11, 14, and 17 in Mohali, Indore & Bengaluru respectively.
India will resume its campaign in the World Test Championship when they host England in a five-match test series. The first match will be played in Hyderabad from January 25, the second one in Vizag from February 2, while the third fourth and fifth will be played in Rajkot (February 15), Ranchi (February 23), and Dharamsala (March 7) respectively.
