Shakib Al Hasan has made the news for all the wrong reasons, once again. A video of the Bangladesh skipper getting manhandled by a mob in his home country, went virat on social media on Tuesday.
The common perception around the video was that the fans in Bangladesh were furious with their national team's performance at the World Cup and they vented out their frustration at the captain.
Bangladesh finished 8th on the points table at the recently concluded ODI World Cup in India. Australia lifted the trophy for the sixth time, as they beat hosts India in Ahmedabad. The Bangla Tigers also missed out on a direct qualification place for the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan.
