What did Misbah Ul Haq say about Babar Azam and his plans for the T20 World Cup?
Former Pakistan skipper Misbah Ul Haq has slammed the Pakistan cricket team, and the team management for the mess they have been into. Speaking with media outlet Ten Cricket, Misbah was quite critical of the performance against USA on Thursday.
It is sheer disappointment. At any stage playing against USA, we were never dominant in the game. There has been a havoc behind the scenes, ever since the ODI World Cup 2023. The 'musical chair' for the chairman role, and then the captaincy sacking, it has all been a mess.
The 50-year-old denied any improvement in the problems faced during the ODI World Cup 2023. He listed fair few issues within the team, which have been on ever since the Asia Cup last year.
We have not solved the problems that we faced in the ODI World Cup. The same issues with the batting order, the lack of effectiveness of spinners, planning, were evident all over again, against USA, Misbah Ul Haq opined the issues after the USA loss on Thursday.

Misbah also slammed Babar Azam for his comments after the loss against USA. The former skipper pointed out on the fiasco during the second over of the run chase, when the bowlers were confused about their roles within the team. He also spoke about the lack of game-awareness in Babar Azam's team.
Babar Azam said we had a plan, but we didn't execute it. But there was no plan! We did not know which bowler was to bowl the second over. Naseem took the run-up, but Mohammad Amir bowled eventually, the 50-year-old was agitated on Babar Azam's post-game comments vs USA.
What plans are you talking about, we did not even have a plan until the second over. Our plans changed after going onto the pitch. We were clueless, with no game-awareness, Misbah satirically pointed out the fiasco against USA.
