PCB chief Zaka Ashraf, in a recent interaction with the press, mentioned that the board is yet to take a call on Babar Azam's future as the Pakistan captain and claimed that a final decision will only be taken by the PCB technical committee which is led by Misbah-ul-Haq.
Ashraf was quoted,
I am not the only one to decide the future regarding captaincy of Babar. PCB Technical Committee under Misbah will make the decision on captaincy. However, Babar is our star and I pray he brings WorldCup to Pakistan.
