India will take on Pakistan in the marquee match of the ICC Cricket World Cup on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The talented Pakistani cricketer had a promising start in the Asia Cup 2023, where he made an impressive 150-plus runs in the opening match against Nepal. However, his subsequent performances have seen a decline. In the five innings that followed, he managed to accumulate only 71 runs.

Moreover, he has struggled to perform against left-arm wrist spinners in the past and Yadav has been his nemesis. Babar averages just nine against Kuldeep and has been dismissed twice; first in the Asia Cup 2018 and then the World Cup 2019.
However, the bowler has nothing but praise for the Pakistani captain, ahead of the blockbuster World Cup clash.

What did Kuldeep Yadav say about Babar Azam?
"I really like Babar's batting. He bats so calmly. He plays pacers really well and is a strong backfoot player. He is a class player and hence he comes among the fab five batsmen in the world. Really excited to see him on the 14th," he told Star Sports.
