Babar Azam has had another outing to forget, as the Pakistan skipper got dismissed for a four-ball duck against Ireland. Azam, who was re-elected as Pakistan's captain dethroning Shaheen Shah Afridi, has received a lot of stick from fans, for his inability to deliver with the bat.

Azam has his tasks cut out, in preparation for the upcoming T20I World Cup 2024. After the fiasco in India in 2023 at the ODI World Cup, Azam was at the forefront of receiving all the criticism thrown at Pakistan.

Ahead of the Ireland Series, Azam was named as Pakistan skipper and will lead the Green Shirts in the upcoming England bilateral series, and also in the T20I World Cup.

However, his batting performance against Ireland in the second T20I has not gone down well with most fans. Being the primary batter of Pakistan, much rests on Azam's shoulders to bail out his country, from pressure situations.

Babar Azam scored a four-ball duck in a crucial run-chase in the second T20I against Ireland in Dublin. Having lost the opening encounter, the match on Sunday was a must-win for Pakistan, if they were to stay alive in the series. Chasing a high total of 193, Babar failed to impact the scoreboard.

How did fans react to Babar Azam's four-ball duck in 2nd T20I vs Ireland?

Fans have kept the memes and reactions coming, as Babar Azam was dismissed for a four-ball duck in the second T20I against Ireland. Some fans have rejoiced his failure, while others have expressed their remorse over Azam's outing on Sunday.

Farid Khan, who is a revered journalist and media-coverage personnel from Pakistan, has put out a satirical tweet to support the Pakistan skipper. He believes how Babar Azam failing could help Pakistan, after Pakistan lost the inaugural T20I against Ireland, where Babar scored a half-century.

Indian meme pages have also joined the queue, as they slam Babar Azam for failing to perform against European minnows, Ireland in the second T20I against Ireland.
