What did Babar Azam say on his journey?
Babar shared his journey from humble beginnings to becoming the captain of Pakistan. He spoke about playing tape-ball cricket and the support of his family.
"My family played a big role because, when I started out, we did not have a lot of money. We were not like a rich family. When I started out, I played state cricket and played tennis ball cricket and tape-ball cricket every Saturday night," Babar said.
Despite early struggles, Babar's dedication and his parents' support helped him succeed. He has now become one of the most sought-after cricketers in Pakistan. Recently, Babar reached the milestone of 4000 runs in T20Is, becoming the second player after Virat Kohli to achieve this.
Babar Azam has high hopes for the T20 World Cup
Babar is optimistic about Pakistan's chances in the T20 World Cup. He shared that the team's confidence is very high and that they are ready for the challenge.
"Yes, we are going for the World Cup. Our confidence is very high. We have a good team and senior players are stepping up, so this helps you a lot. We are very excited for the World Cup," Babar said.
