Cricket Australia, on Monday, October 14, announced their ODI squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan where they will be hosting the subcontinent team for a three-match ODI series which will be followed up by three T20Is.

While captain Pat Cummins makes a return to the team after missing out on the England white-ball tour, the stand-in captains from that series, Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh have missed out from the squad for personal reasons.

What is Australia's ODI squad for the Pakistan series?

Alongside Head and Mitch Marsh who are out on paternity leave, the star all-rounder, Cameron Green has also found himself on the sidelines with a back injury which will see him out of action for at least 6 months.

On the other hand, with the retirement of David Warner and the unavailability of Head, it is going to be a massive opportunity for the likes of Jake Fraser-McGurk at the top order and youngster Cooper Connolly finds his name in the squad as well.
