The Ashes is arguably the most daunting test series in the sport. It has been played between arch-rivals Australia and England for over a hundred years.
In the ongoing Ashes in England, the hosts have been off their mark, trailing by 2-0. The third Test of the five-match series will commence on July 6.
Australia remarkably won the first two tests, standing tall and soaking up all the pressure. The whole team has worked as a formidable unit and performed to the best of their skills. The Aussies won the second game at the Lord’s from the jaws of defeat by 43 runs.
Meanwhile, Ben Stokes & Co. have been prey to two close encounters. Everything needs to go back to the drawing board for England, who have an uphill task from here if they want to retain the Ashes Urn. They would hope to get third-time lucky to stay afloat in the series.
