India star opener Shubman Gill who is currently captaining India A in the Duleep Trophy 2024/25 saw him get dismissed by an in-swinging delivery once again.
Gill came out to bat out Day 2 after the opposition India B had posted a total of 321 runs on board after a remarkable comeback from being stranded at 94/7, thanks to a Musheer Khan 181 and half-century from tailender Navdeep Saini.
The 24-year-old batting along with Mayank Agarwal, helped them team to a 57-run first wicket partnership, however, both batters were dismissed in quick succession by the fast bowler Saini.

WATCH - Duleep Trophy: Are inswingers Shubman Gill's weakness?
Since this is not the first time that Gill has been dismissed by an in-swinging delivery, fans and experts alike discussed and debated if this was his potential weakness that the oppositions will look to exploit in the future.
During the World Test Championship (WTC) Final in 2023, he was dismissed in a similar fashion by Australia Scott Boland, whose stock delivery is angling the ball back into the right-hander.
After facing nine dots in that Test, Gill misjudged and left the delivery, which ended up crashing the stumps.
On Friday, September 6, Saini cleaned up Gill's wickets after the latter opted to leave the ball, but had once again misjudged the inswinger, which resulted in his dismissal for 25 runs.
Terrific delivery 🔥

The youngster who is considered to be the future leader of the Indian cricket team, was criticized by many fans on social media as they pointed out the repeated flaw in his technique against the ball moving into the right-hander.

With a hectic Test cricket schedule lined up for the remainder of 2024 including series against Bangladesh, New Zealand and the crucial tour of Australia, his weakness could be exploited by the opposition bowlers, which can prove to be costly for the Indian team.
