England Pacer Jimmy Anderson and Australian spinner Nathan Lyon were seen at the Major League Baseball (MLB) London event ahead of the second Ashes Test.
MLB is in London on Saturday and Sunday as the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Chicago Cubs in a weekend series at London Stadium, home of West Ham United.

The rivals had a light moment as they shook hands before throwing down the ceremonial first pitches at the London Stadium.
The Aussie spinner was seen donning the Cardinals’ jersey, while England’s local hero wore the Chicago Cubs jersey.
The cricketers then threw pitches to a huge round of applause from the spectators who cheered the cricketers and their respective catchers - Anderson with Patrick Wisdom (Cubs) and Lyon with Andrew Knizner (Cardinals).

The match between the Cubs and the Cardinals ended 9-1 in favour of the Chicago Cubs.
How has the Ashes been so far?
The MLB London event came two days following the conclusion of the first Ashes Test at Edgbaston. England suffered a narrow defeat in the first test, as the visitors lead the five-match series by 0-1.
Australian skipper Pat Cummins, along with Nathon Lyon did the unthinkable for the visitors, leading them home with an unbeaten 55-run stand for the ninth wicket.
All eyes have now turned to the second Test, which will be played at the iconic Lord’s, from Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
