England spinner Adil Rashid revealed his retirement plans after his team's back-to-back losses in the ongoing five-match ODI series against Australia.
The veteran leggie became the first English spinner to bag 200 ODI wickets in his previous outing during the 2nd ODI against the Aussies. Rashid finished with figures of 2/42 in his ten overs, however, England went on to lose the match at Leeds by 68 runs.

England have created an unwanted statistic at the start of Brendon McCullum's white-ball coaching stint in ODIs and T20Is. They have lost 10 of their previous 14 ODIs.
Moreover, a loss in the next match would mean a 3-0 series loss at home to arch-rivals Australia, with two games to spare.
Amidst ODI struggles, Adil Rashid's revelation could be a shining light for England cricket. The 36-year-old talked about hanging his boots ahead of the 3rd ODI on Tuesday.

Is Adil Rashid planning to retire from international cricket?
Rashid denied all talks of him retiring from international cricket. He has revealed his desire to win the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.
"I have not thought about it [retirement] yet. Keep playing, enjoy it, stay fit, bowl well, contribute to wins, hopefully World Cups and Champions Trophies - that is my ultimate aim," Rashid stated ahead of England's 3rd ODI vs Australia.
"I'm playing each game and each series as it comes and if I'm still enjoying it and performing well, I'll keep carrying on," the leg-spinner added.
What did Adil Rashid say about Moeen Ali?
Adil Rashid has dismissed all claims of hanging his boots, more so after the retirement of fellow veteran, Moeen Ali. The 36-year-old spoke about the experience that he could impart to the young and upcoming spinners in the national team.
"I've got no eye yet on retiring or anything like that - that's not even crossed my mind. It's about enjoying the game and still giving it everything I've got," Rashid revealed.
"He's (Moeen Ali) a big miss for the team and a big miss for me because we're really good friends on and off the pitch," Rashid said on partner-in-crime, Moeen Ali.
"With Mo not being there my input will obviously be a little bit more, speaking to the youngsters and them coming to me," he concluded.
