2023 is looking to be an action-packed season for Indian cricket fans. Currently, the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is in full flow with the Playoffs to commence on Tuesday. After IPL comes to an end, supporters have the World Test Championship (WTC) between India and Australia, plus the 2023 ODI World Cup to look forward to.
In news that will further excite Indian supporters, Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah announced the sportswear giants Adidas will be India's new kit sponsor for limited overs matches. In light of this development, the Indian cricket team will sport a new jersey whenever they play next after the WTC final.
I'm pleased to announce @BCCI's partnership with @adidas as a kit sponsor. We are committed to growing the game of cricket and could not be more excited to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands. Welcome aboard, @adidas
