The Lucknow Super Giants are entering their sophomore season in the IPL, and will look to improve on their impressive third-place finish. 

The league's joint-newest team, the Giants joined the IPL as part of an expansion in 2022, awarded a place in the league alongside the Gujarat Titans.

Who is the Lucknow Super Giants coach? 

The Lucknow Super Giants are coached by Andy Flower, the former captain of the Zimbabwe national team. 

Flowers is the inaugural coach of the Giants, appointed in 2021. 

What is Andy Flower's coaching record? 

From 2009 to 2014, Flowers helmed the English national team, winning the Ashes against Australia in 2009-10, and taking out the ICC World T20 tournament in 2010. 

Flowers stepped down from this position in 2014 after losing the 2013-14 Ashes 5-0. In 2020 he took on three coaching roles, with Multan Sultans, St Lucia Zouks, and an assistant role with the Punjab Kings, before taking the Giants role in 2021.
