Over the next few weeks the action will continue to build towards a playoff series, and then a deciding match that will crown the new IPL champion.

When is the IPL 2023 final?
The championship match for the IPL 2023 tournament is scheduled for 19:30 on May 28, 2023.
It will be held at a neutral venue — the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

What is the format of IPL 2023?
Ten teams are competing in IPL 2023, with the franchises split up into two groups of five.
Each team will play 14 group games, comprising of a single match against teams in their group and home-and-away matches against the teams in the other group.
The four top-ranked teams in the collated standings featuring both groups will then qualify for the playoffs.
First and second place in the points table will playoff for a route directly to the final, while the loser of that match will then play the winner of third versus fourth for the other spot in the deciding match.

How to watch the IPL 2023 tournament on TV
Star Sports won the broadcast rights for the 2023 IPL season, and will telecast this year's tournaments on its TV channels.
Subscribers will be able to catch all the action from every match in multiple languages, with Star Sports 1 offering coverage in English as well as languages including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
Select matches will also be available on Star Sports 2, while the company has also announced that it will make 12 matches free-to-air on its Star Utsav Movies channel.
IPL 2023 live stream, online details
Viacom18 won the digital rights to the IPL 2023 and has already announced that it will live stream IPL 2023 in 12 languages, including Bhojpuri, Tamil, Bengali, Malayalam and Gujarati.
Coverage will be available on its Jio Cinema platform for free in 4K.
Fans will not need to subscribe to Voot Select but must have a Jio sim to watch the streaming for free on the Jio Cinema App.
