Hitting 6 sixes in an over is quite an incredible feat to achieve. It's like scoring a double hattrick in football. Not many people have done it because of it's acute improbability.
A batsman can realistically score 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 6 runs off a ball. Hence, only six possible outcomes. If you try to calculate the probability of a batsman scoring 6 sixes off six legal deliveries, it comes down to 0.0000214%.

That is the reason why there's a limited list of cricketers who have achieved this near-impossible feat in the history of the sport.
On Wednesday, February 21, one more player entered the exclusive '6 sixes in an over' list - Andhra Pradesh's 22-year-old opener Vamsi Krishna.
Krishna scored a 64-ball 110 in Andhra's Col. C K Nayudu Trophy game against Railways and smashed 6 sixes off spinner Damandeep Singh.

Yuvraj Singh, Herschelle Gibbs, Ravi Shastri: All players to have hit 6 sixes in an over
Herschelle Gibbs
In a game against Netherlands at the 2007 World Cup, Gibbs blasted 6 sixes in an over bowled by Daan van Bunge. This was the first instance of a cricketer achieving this feat in an international game. Gibbs remains the only player to hit 6 sixes in an over in ODI World Cups.
Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj smashed young Stuart Broad for 6 sixes in the 19th over of India's innings against England at the inaugural edition of the ICC World Twenty20, held in South Africa, in 2007. In the process, the aggressive southpaw also reached his half-century in just 12 balls, which remains the fastest T20I fifty in history.
Kieron Pollard
Pollard will go down as one of the most entertaining cricketers in T20 history. The West Indian had a knack of clearing boundaries unlike any other player, and used to smoke bowlers for maximums for a living. In a T20I between Sri Lanka and West Indies in March 2021, Sri Lankan offie Akila Dananjaya picked a hattrick. In his very next over, though, he had to face the wrath of Pollard, who hit him for 6 sixes in an over. Talk about 1 in a million possibility.
Jaskaran Malhotra
Playing for USA in an ODI against Papua New Guinea in 2021, Malhotra was going to face the last over and was unbeaten on 137. USA had lost nine wickets and had managed to score 235 until the end of the 49th over. Gaudi Toka was handed the responsibility of bowling the final over. Malhotra smashed Toka's all six deliveries for a 6 to finish with a score of 173*. USA ultimately won the game by 135 runs.
Sir Garfield Sobers
Sobers is one of the greatest cricketers of all time, and it's only poetic for one of the greatest players of the sport to be the first-ever man to achieve the feat of hitting 6 sixes in an over. It came in a County game on August 31, 1968. Sobers was playing for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan. Malcolm Nash was the bowler who was on the receiving end of Sobers going totally berserk with the bat.
Ravi Shastri
In 1985, in a Ranji Trophy game between Bombay (now Mumbai) and Baroda, Ravi Shastri was representing the former. Just 22 at the time, Shastri became just the second cricketer at the time to hit 6 sixes in an over, off the bowling of Tilak Raj.
Ross Whiteley
Whiteley, a white ball specialist, was born in Sheffield in 1988. In July 2017, in a Twenty20 Blast match at Headingley, Whiteley hit Yorkshire Vikings' spinner Karl Craver for 6 sixes while representing Worcestershire Rapids. However, the Rapids lost the match, thanks to David Willey's 55-ball 118 in the run chase.
Hazratullah Zazai
In an Afghanistan Premier League 2018 match, Afghanistan batsman Zazai, while batting for Kabul Zwanan, smacked Balkh Legends' Abdullah Mazari for 6 sixes in a single over.
Leo Carter
Carter was playing for the Canterbury Kings in New Zealand's Super Smash (T20 competition) against Northern Knights in 2020. Carter hit spinner Anton Devcich for 6 sixes to help Kings win against Knights by seven wickets at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
Thisara Perera
In a List A tournament in Sri Lanka, the SLC Major Clubs competition, Perera was representing Army Sports CC in a game against Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club. Perera scored a 13-ball 52 to score the second-fastest List A fifty in history, which included 6 sixes in an over off part-time off spinner Dilhan Cooray.
Ruturaj Gaikwad
On November 28, 2022, in a Vijay Hazare quarterfinal between Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, Gaikwad smashed 7 sixes (43 runs) in the 49th over bowled by UP's Shiva Singh en route to scoring a breathtaking 220*. He became the first cricketer to smash 7 sixes in an over.
Dipendra Singh Airee
Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee became only the third batter in the world after Yuvraj and Pollard to hit six sixes in a row in T20I as he achieved the feat against Qatar on April 13.
Dan Lawrence
On June 24, Dan Lawrence his 38 runs off Shoaib Bashir's over in first-class cricket while batting for Surrey as he hit six sixes in a row.
