100 Test matches between India and West Indies - Queen's Park Oval to host milestone game image

The second game of the upcoming two-match Test series between West Indies and India will mark the 100th Test match between the two teams and Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad is set to host the match.

The second Test match will be held between July 20 to July 24.

There have been some memorable encounters between the two countries in the past decades. West Indies have the edge over India when it comes to head-to-head record. 

Out of the 98 matches, West Indies have won on 30 occasions while India won 22 games. The 46 games ended in a draw. 

Speaking on the conducting the milestone Test match, Cricket West Indies CEO Johnny Graves said, 

We are delighted to be able to confirm the schedule and venues for the highly anticipated visit by India. One of the highlights will be the 100th Test at the Queen’s Park Oval and this promises to be a fantastic occasion as we celebrate this historic event between these two proud cricketing nations.

The first match of the series will be held in Dominica which starts on July 12. This will also mark the beginning of the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
