The former NBA star, Michael Jordan, returned to Wilmington, North Carolina -his hometown- to give hundred of Thanksgiving dinners to victims of Huracan Florence.
The presence of the former star of the Bulls caused great joy and furor among the victims of the hurricane who attended the meeting.
"That he (MJ) is here, means we have not forgotten, that we are still important to him”, said Stephanie Parker, affected by the natural phenomenon and who had the opportunity to be present to meet Michael Jordan.

After this, MJ came to the Community Club for Boys and Girls of Wilmington, N.C., where he played as a child; there he gave hundreds of pairs of 'MJ' tennis to the children of the community
"If I can bring a smile to their faces, especially under these circumstances, it is pleasing to do this without any doubt (...) I would like the children to have the same opportunities, and that is what I am going to try to do”, said the owner of the Charlotte Hornets.
Last September, the six times champion of the NBA donated 2 million dollars to assist residents of North Carolina, and 1 million more to the American Red Cross, and the Foundation for the Fund of Response to Hurricane Florence.
