LaMelo Ball is among four members of the Charlotte Hornets to be placed in the NBA's Health and Safety protocols, the team Saturday announced.

Ball's backcourt mate, Terry Rozier, along with Jalen McDaniels and starting center Mason Plumlee are also expected to miss time after entering the league's health and safety protocols.

Any player that enters the NBA's Health and Safety Protocols must be sidelined for 10 days or record two negative PCR tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities. Should each of these four players be sidelined for 10 days, they will be sidelined for at least five of the Hornets' upcoming games.

This season, Ball is leading the Hornets in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals with averages of 20.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game.

More to come.
