Luis Alberto Lopez will make his second defence of the IBF featherweight championship by giving Joet Gonzalez the third world title shot of his career.

Mexican Lopez knocked out Michael Conlon in Belfast in his maiden defence in May, retaining the title he won with a decision victory over Josh Warrington in Leeds the previous December.

A 12th win in a row beckons if Lopez can stop Gonzalez in his tracks following the 29-year-old's defeat of Enrique Vivas in a 10-rounder in April.

Gonzalez dropped unanimous decisions to both Shakur Stevenson (2019) and Emanuel Navarrete (2021), failing to win the WBO belt on both occasions.
