The dust has finally settled on Canelo Alvarez's dominant win over Jermell Charlo, which saw him retain his status as the undisputed super middleweight champion.
The Mexican star came into the fight with many critics questioning skills. However, he comfortably outboxed Charlo, who brought nothing to the table on the biggest night of his life.
Charlo, now the former undisputed super welterweight champion after being stripped by the WBO, managed to land just 71 out of 398 blows (17.8%). Compared to his usual self, the challenger was quiet during fight week and the buildup to the event was mediocre.
