Jaylen Brown has agreed to a contract extension with the Boston Celtics, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
The Celtics and Brown have agreed to a four-year, $115 million extension, marking the first rookie extension Boston's general manager Danny Ainge has given out since Rajon Rondo in 2009. The extension does not include a player or team option, Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reports .

The former No. 3 overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft averaged 13.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game last season, taking a role off the bench after starting in all 70 games he appeared in during the 2017-18 season.
Brown stepped up in the Celtics playoff run last season averaging 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, starting in all nine postseason contests.
The 22-year old guard is expected to return to a bigger role this season with the Celtics' depth a bit more limited than it was in 2018-19.
