The No. 2 overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2010 NBA Draft, Turner played for the Boston Celtics for two seasons from 2014 to 2016.
The Celtics were one of five teams he played for in his 10-year career - 76ers (2010-14), Indiana Pacers (2014), Celtics (2014-16), Portland Trail Blazers (2016-19), and Atlanta Hawks (2019-20).
The best season of his career, the 2013-14 campaign in Philadelphia, was cut short following a trade to the Indiana Pacers. Prior to the trade, he averaged 17.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 54 games for the 76ers.
In 2019, while playing for the Portland Trail Blazers, Turner made the deepest post-season run of his career as they advanced to the Western Conference Finals. Turner turned in a memorable performance in Game 7 of their second-round series against the Denver Nuggets, recording 14 points on seven shots in 19 minutes, including the game-sealing free throws.
In his most recent season with the Hawks in 2019-20, he played just 19 games and averaged 3.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 13.2 minutes per game.
